This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to all use of services provided by Rhoel Penalver Gerona, trading as QuickWeb Technologies ("QuickWeb", "we", "us"), and forms part of our Terms of Service. By using QuickWeb's services, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violations may result in warning, suspension or termination of service as described in the Terms of Service, without refund.

Prohibited content and activity

You must not use QuickWeb's services to store, transmit, publish or link to content or engage in activity that:

  • Is illegal under Australian federal, state or territory law, or the law of a jurisdiction relevant to the content
  • Infringes another party's copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret or other intellectual property rights
  • Is defamatory, harassing, threatening, abusive, or invades another person's privacy
  • Contains child sexual abuse material or otherwise sexually exploits a minor
  • Promotes or facilitates fraud, phishing, or identity theft
  • Contains malware, viruses, trojans, ransomware, or other malicious code

Unsolicited commercial email (spam)

QuickWeb has zero tolerance for sending unsolicited commercial email (UCE/spam), operating open mail relays, or hosting content that is advertised via spam sent from any network. This includes purchased or harvested email lists used without the recipient's consent. We may monitor outbound mail volume and content to prevent our network being blacklisted.

Network & system security

You must not use QuickWeb's services to:

  • Access or attempt to access data, accounts, or systems without authorisation
  • Probe, scan or test the vulnerability of any system or network without authorisation
  • Interfere with service to any user, host or network, including via denial-of-service attacks, flooding, or mail-bombing
  • Forge TCP/IP packet headers, email headers, or any part of a message describing its origin or route
  • Run open proxies, open relays, or unauthenticated Tor exit nodes
  • Distribute or participate in botnets, or use compromised systems to attack others

Resource usage

Shared hosting and "unmetered" plans are provided for standard business website and email use, on a fair-use basis. Client agrees not to run processes that consume disproportionate CPU, memory, disk I/O or bandwidth in a way that degrades service for other customers on shared infrastructure. Where usage is inconsistent with a plan's intended use, QuickWeb may request the Client upgrade to a more suitable plan (such as a VPS or dedicated server), apply reasonable throttling, or take the other action described in the Terms of Service.

Copyright infringement / takedown notices

QuickWeb responds to valid copyright takedown notices. On receipt of a valid notice, we will generally request removal or take other appropriate action within 24 hours. Repeat or serious infringement may result in immediate suspension or termination without notice.

IP address use

Dedicated IP addresses are allocated only where justified by need under applicable regional internet registry (e.g. APNIC) guidelines, and remain the property of QuickWeb or its upstream providers. Misuse, including for spamming, scanning, or resale outside your agreement, may result in the address being revoked.

Reporting a violation

If you believe content or activity on QuickWeb's network violates this AUP, contact us at hello@quickweb.au with full details, including relevant headers, logs, or URLs where applicable.

Enforcement

QuickWeb may investigate suspected violations of this AUP and take any action described in the Terms of Service, including content removal, throttling, suspension or termination, at its discretion and, where practicable, with notice to the Client. Serious violations (e.g. active attacks, illegal content, or credible law enforcement requests) may be actioned immediately without prior notice.
